This "Read Me" file contains the latest information about running
The X-Fools Preview  and the Pyst Preview to insure the best
playing experience possible.  Please refer to the printed Parroty
Interactive Online Guide for details on setting up a browser and
going online.

Troubleshooting
===============

If you are experiencing problems with video, animation or sound:

1. Windows 95 is strongly recommended to play The X-Fools Preview.

2. Set your monitor graphics mode to display 256 colors in 640x480
resolution.

3. Before running the previews, exit all running programs, 
including those that run automatically when you start Windows 
(such as screen savers and toolbars).

4. Computers with slower components (66 MHz 486's, 60 MHz Pentiums,
2X CD-ROM drives) or smaller memories (8 MB RAM) may exhibit poor
game performance.  This is especially true of The X-Fools Preview
on low-end Windows 3.1 computers.

5.  Make sure that you are running only one copy of the 
preview at a time.
